# Set up a Statsig connector

> C1 provides identity governance for Statsig. Integrate your Statsig instance with C1 for unified visibility and governance over user access.

C1 provides identity governance for Statsig. Integrate your Statsig
organization with C1 for unified visibility and governance over user access.

## Capabilities

| Resource | Sync                                                          | Provision |
| -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- | --------- |
| Users    | <Icon icon="square-check" iconType="solid" color="#c937ae" /> |           |

The connector syncs the members of your Statsig organization as user
identities. Each user carries their organization role — **Admin**, **Member**,
**Read Only**, or a custom role you have defined — so you can see who holds
administrative access.

## Gather Statsig credentials

<Warning>
  You need a **Console API key** with permission to read your organization's
  users. The key grants access to your Statsig console, so treat it as a secret.
</Warning>

<Steps>
  <Step>
    Sign in to Statsig as a member of the organization you want to sync. You
    need administrator access to create a Console API key.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Open **Project Settings** → **Keys & Environments** → **API Keys**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Create a new key and choose the **Console API** key type (not a Server or
    Client SDK key). Copy the generated key — you will use it to configure the
    connector.
  </Step>
</Steps>
